If an organizer is interested in booking you, you don’t want them going on a wild internet goose chase just to find your details. You’d much rather they find everything in one place, right? You also want events to get it right when they promote you, whether it’s in a newspaper article or an Instagram post.

The goal? Put all the important stuff into one handy PDF so any organizer or booker can quickly get the scoop: who you are, how you sound, what your experience is—without having to guess if they’ve got the right DJ!

A PRESSKIT is the perfect way to introduce yourself, nice and snappy. Send it over as a PDF that includes a bio, a recent playlist, and some live show snippets. Especially when you’re starting out, it’s smart to show where you’re at. For instance: just recorded an EP? Your single is hitting the airwaves? Played alongside big names like X & Y? Lay it out! This way, bookers, labels, and managers get the whole picture without needing to hire a detective.

What’s in a professional PRESSKIT?

Think carefully about what you include. Some things are essential, others not so much (maybe skip the high score on your favorite video game). Keep it simple: a short bio with your best highlights (written in the third person) and a few photos showing your journey. And of course, add links to your channels so they can dive right into your music or live footage.
